The President of the University of Liberia is calling on Youths and Young adults of the United Methodist church to continuously use dialogue and the act of forgiveness as instruments for the maintenance of peace ahead of the upcoming October 10 elections.
Speaking on the role of the Christian on the prevention of electoral violence and biblical perspective, Rev Julius Nelson said in order to maintain peace during the upcoming elections; young people must do no harm to anyone but do good to everyone and stay in love with God always.

Dr. Nelson made these remarks over the weekend at a seminar organized by the Monrovia District Conference of the United Methodist Church for young people between the ages 18-35 years under the theme: The role of the Christian Community in maintaining and sustaining a peaceful election.
The seminar brought together several Youths and Young adults of the United Methodist Church for the sole purpose of learning how to maintain the peace in Liberia.
