A Group of Christian Organizations and Churches under the banner “The Body of Christ in Liberia” is admonishing Liberians ahead of the run of presidential elections on October 14, 2023 to join in a three day long fast and prayer for a peaceful conduct of the national polls.
According to leaders of the Body of Christ. The need for the Liberian Nation to turn to God for his Devine intervention for a successful election cam not over emphasize.
The three days of spiritual exercise of fasting and praying unto God is needed for Gods timely protection of the state even during this election period.
Speaking to the united Methodist Radio on recently, Bishop Robert Bimba of the abide in the Vine Fellow Central Church located in Paynesville, Monrovia said It is time to pray for the nation saying Liberians are good of people who are willing to do God’s will.
He then added when there is a man to pray there is a God to answer such prayer
For his part the pastor of the Christ Embassy Liberia, Pastor Alfred Mayson noted that all Church leaders should make this day a success by yielding to spiritual instructions from the word of God in exhibiting spiritual maturity to form part of these three days fast and payer
Pastor Alfred Also use the occasion to call on Christians to stop playing Church and do the necessary that God requires for a Christian living.
Also concluding the Bishop of the Harvest Intercontinental church, Bishop M. wolobeleh said the nation of Liberia need to turn to God and this is the set time, thus human may have limitations but God has the ultimate power to save when men turn to him.
He also added that Liberians are the children of God and should be able to listen to the voice of God at all time.
