Bishop Samuel Quire calls for the refurbishment of the United Methodist Church’s health facility within the Guinea Circuit of the Liberia Annual Conference.

Bishop Samuel Quire said, there is a need to prioritize the training of staff members at the facility as well as their enumeration.

Bishop Quire then said, more attention needs to be given to Jaykay in an attempt to improve the Hospital’s facility as it is ideally located because it attends to a lot of people.

He however said, there is a need to appoint a resident from within the area as its next circuit superintendent during the Annual Session because he or she will will have a clear understanding of the area.

For his part, the Circuit Superintendent Rev. Ebenezer Ballah said, the United Methodist Church clinic within Jaykay is to be roofed shortly while mechanisms will be worked out to have its managers moved into the facility upon its final completion.

Rev. Ballah however showered praises on the leadership team at the facility and noted that despite ongoing difficulties being faced by citizens in the country, assigned pastors within the circuit are fully committed to doing the work of God.

He stressed the importance of salary support to staff members at the clinic and called for said issue to be addressed swiftly.

The United Methodist Church Clinic in Jaykay is being strongly supported with drugs by the Global Board of General Ministries (GBGM) through the Department of Health of the Liberia Annual Conference, the United Methodist Church.
