The Bishop of the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church has with immediate effect appointed Ft. Lewis Teah Togba, Sr as the Director proper for the department of communications.
Ft. Togba, has been acting as Director since the death of his predecessor Ft MacArthur Hill over a year now.
According to Bishop Samuel Quire’s Letter of appointment, dated November 21, 2023 it is hope that Ft Lewis Togba will use his expertise and experience over the years to work with conference officials in ways that will uplift that ministry area of the conference as it strive to make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Ft Lewis Teah Togba, Sr is a veteran Liberia Media Development specialist for nearly 40 years and served as head of News, Rural Broadcasting and TV with the state Broadcaster, station Manager Radio Monrovia and is the Founder of the Versatile Vocational Training Center{VVTC) and the Lewis Togba School of Journalism and media eservices.
Meanwhile Ft. Lewis Togba is commending Bishop Samuel Quire Jr for the confidence repose in him and has vow to continue to promote the work of the united Methodist church in Liberia using the various platforms available to the department of communications such as the newly launch website, the radio, the UMCTV Liberia online and the Circuit Rider Newspaper.
Since he assumed stewardship at the Liberia Episcopal Area UMC department of Communications, Fth Lewis Togba, Sr has launch a two year vision code maned ” Making the UMC LAC Visible” in Liberia and the globe, for the soul purpose of reaching out to winning souls for Jesus Christ.
.The Vision has since been gaining momentum across the community and the world with a huge support from our international partners UMCOM and UMC Broadcast Network .
