In a determined endeavor to reshape the Liberia Episcopal Area’s Department of Communications, a Strategic In-Service Workshop was conducted on August 5, 2023, in Monrovia, focusing on the comprehensive rebranding of various sectors within the department.

The workshop held a dual purpose, not only to rebrand but also to advance the two-year vision of elevating the visibility of the Liberia Episcopal Area UMC both locally and globally. Rev. Joel Gould, Administrative Assistant to United Methodist Resident Bishop Samuel J. Quire Jr., emphasized the pivotal role of communicators as bearers of Christ’s message to the world, underlining the timeliness and significance of the workshop.

Rev. Gould’s address inspired the participants, urging them to infuse creativity into disseminating the message of Christ effectively. Ft. Lewis Teah Togba Sr., Director of the Department of Communications, underscored that the strategic training aimed to reinvigorate the department’s staff mindset in championing the Church’s initiatives across diverse platforms, such as radio, website, online TV, Circuit Rider Newspaper, and audio-visual content.

Throughout the workshop, engaging discussions and innovative concepts were shared to enhance creativity and amplify impact. As the training concluded, numerous staff members reaffirmed their dedication to serving the Church with renewed vigor and purpose.
