The guest preacher at James E Marshall United Methodist Church Usher’s day celebration is calling on ushers of the United Methodist Church to desist from overlooking their position as their services are highly needed within the house of God.
Mother Roberta Pabai of the Garden of Prayer Church of God, wants Ushers within the Church to be sensitive in executing their duties while helping to relieve their pastors of burdens they might be faced with.
Mother Pabai at the same time called on ushers to be orderly in their work with Jesus Christ as He is the organizers of things.
She then stressed the need for Ushers to be seen wearing a smile while performing their duties thereby doing away from the task of carrying their burdens all by themselves but rather giving it all to God who cares and knows about mankind.
Making remark in response to being honored as Usher of the year 2023-24, Matilda Tarpeh expressed gratitude for the honor and promised to remain committed in the discharge of her duties.
