As the nation of Liberia strives to improve its educational system through academic excellence, the J. J., Roberts United Methodist School Systems graduates a total of 123 Students at its 24th graduation program over the weekend
Speaking at the 24th graduation ceremony held at the Steven Throwen Nagbeh Church on 13th Street in Sinkor, Monrovia the guest speaker, Rev. Bleede Nimely told the exciting graduates that with knowledge and skills, couple with attitude toward the value of education. this he said will lead to building a wholesome society.
In the words of S.T. Nagbe UMC Senior Pastor there seem to be more educated people in our society nowadays, but their judgment often raises eyebrows.
He said the education that many have acquired these days has not made society a peaceful place but rather a place of confusion and disunity among people.
Rev Blidii Nimely maintains that if one’s education doesn’t make a society a better place to be for people to live in unity then (he or she) is not worth being an educated person.
Making the overview of the Academic year 2022/2023, the school principal Samuel K seigbeh , showed appreciation to God almighty for the care given thus far in bringing the school to its 24th graduation commencement.
The Methodist Educator further extended thanks and much appreciation to the parents for making huge efforts to make sure that those children acquire the best of educations from the J J. Roberts educational school despite argument that the name of their institution is living on past glory.
However. he said the 24th graduating class have gone through what he described as the guardant principles of academic excellence within the walls of the JJ Roberts United Methodist school system, and are well prepared to compete with their counterparts on the continent and the rest of the world.
Principal Sagbe stressed the need for national priority in the education sector.
For his part ]\the valedictorian of the J.J. Roberts United Methodist School, Montel E. Reevevs further lamented that students should strive for excellence and quality in their quest to building a prosperous nation.
He further admonished educational stakeholders and national government to implement policies that will aim at providing opportunities for external studies.
