The District Superintendent of the Monrovia District Conference of the Liberia Annual Conference, the United Methodist Church, Reverend Julius Williams, is urging the men of the Monrovia District Conference and all Liberians to prioritize matters of faith, particularly in light of divine intervention witnessed during and after the final election results.

Addressing the audience during the opening of the Monrovia District Men’s 44th Annual Session and 50th Anniversary celebration at the Stephen Trowen Nagbe Memorial United Methodist Church in Sinkor, Reverend Williams extended his well wishes to the men of the Monrovia District Conference. He called on all Liberians to express gratitude for God’s grace and goodness, both for what has been accomplished and for the anticipated blessings for the nation.

Acting Lay Leader Madam Davis congratulated the men and emphasized that the hosting of the conference signifies the transformation of the organization’s past leaders’ vision into tangible action. While urging members of the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church not to let the church’s future be determined by others, she called for fervent prayers for God’s guidance at this critical juncture in its existence.

Fth Samuel Swen Kun, the Conference United Methodist Men President, expressed excitement about the gathering of the men in the Monrovia district, expressing gratitude for the leadership’s efforts in glorifying God. He acknowledged that while every Liberian has a political stance, citizens should refrain from risking their lives for politicians and instead focus on fervent prayers for the peace and tranquility of the nation.

The Praying Mothers Deaconesses and Women of the District were present to witness and celebrate alongside the Men of the Monrovia District, adding a spirit of unity and communal celebration to the significant event.
