Bishop Quire Visits Kitty Decker Memorial UMC in Observance of Palm Sunday
In a spirit of reverence and unity, the Resident Bishop of the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church (UMC), Bishop Samuel J. Quire Jr., visited the Kitty Decker Memorial United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 13, 2025, to lead worship in observance of Palm Sunday. The celebration marked the official beginning of Holy Week, a sacred time in the Christian calendar commemorating the last days of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry.

Rev. Davies Inspires United Methodists During Regular Devotion
Rev. Boyd B. Davies, Director of the Board of Pension, Health Benefits, and Pastoral Welfare at the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, delivered an inspiring sermon during the regular devotion at the Martha Prout Dennis Memorial Chapel. His message, centered on the themes of disaffiliation and re-affiliation, was drawn from the biblical passage Luke 15:11-32, commonly known as the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
